Female Faculty Aligned with Business (FFAB) Affinity Group Holds First Event

The Female Faculty Aligned with Business (FFAB) affinity group held its first event, titled "Empowering Women in Education" event at the Lundring Event Center on March 20, 2024. The gathering attracted a remarkable turnout of women and those who identify as female from across the university, including full-time and adjunct faculty members. The event was distinguished by Dr. Victoria Crittenden's keynote address. As Professor of Marketing at Babson College and Editor of the Journal of Marketing Education, she delivered an empowering speech that delineated the essence of empowerment for female faculty and underscored the significance of mentorship within academia. This event has established a solid foundation for the university's commitment to support and honor the essential contributions of women in academia. For further details about joining FFAB and forthcoming events, please reach out to any member of the leadership team: Mary Jo Shane, Carol Swett, Tracy Nickl, Annie Denq, or Setayesh Sattari who must all be sincerely thanked for their energy and time in making this happen!
