MPPA Program Goes to Tijuana
From December 9-10, the MPPA program took a study trip to Tijuana in order to expose Cal Lutheran students to issues in migration and challenges faced by asylum seekers and transitory migrants in Tijuana, Mexico. Lead by program director Sabith Khan, the group of students visited organizations including Casa de la Migrantes, Colegio Frontera Norte, Casa Madre Asunta, and Friends of Friendship park.
