Congratulations to John Garcia!
On February 21, the university’s Board of Regents decided to grant our colleague John Garcia tenure and promoted him to the rank of Associate Professor. After six years at Ernst & Young, 14 years at Toyota, and a brief intermezzo at the University of North Texas, John joined the School of Management in 2021 as a Professor of Finance. John is an outstanding instructor in both undergraduate and graduate courses, an accomplished researcher, and has spearheaded many initiatives at the university and the School of Management, particularly in the areas of student mentoring, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. We are lucky to have John as a colleague.
