On April 22nd, Matthew Fienup, Executive Director of our Center for Economic Research and Forecasting, presented the latest update on the U.S. Latino GDP report and project. Latest results show that the US Latino GDP now surpasses the size of Japan's economy! Matthew was joined by his collaborator David Hayes Bautista (UCLA) as well as Cynthia Herrera (VCCCD Vice Chancellor and Interim President of Oxnard College), Gabriela Rodríguez (Oxnard City Council Member), Nicki Parr (CEO of Women's Economic Ventures), and Gloria Martinez (Ventura County Economic Vitality Manager), and Marlene Orozco (CEO Stratified Insights). The event was moderated by Jorge Mercado (Editor Pacific Coast Business Times).
