CESI Conference on the housing crisis
Another great annual conference by our Center for Economics of Social Issues (CESI) is in the books. Under the leadership of Executive Director of the Center, our colleague Jamshid Damooei, a full Lundring Events Center focused on the topic of California's Housing Crisis. After a welcome by President Nunes and keynote presentations by Ruslan Korchagin and Jamshid Damooei, the audience heard from an expert panel moderated by Bruce Stenslie, President and CEO of the Economic Development Collaborative Ventura County (EDC), and engaged in spirited discussions on solutions to the housing crisis. Sincere thanks go to our SOM staff members Rosie Baker, Laura Hernandez, Hana Petr, Tiki van Heest, and Pia Valtierra as well as faculty colleague Kirk Lesh for their - once again - outstanding operations support!
