American Scandinavian Foundation Lecture Series
"Ron Windh, War Hero and Space Pioneer"
Historical studies often overlook the contributions of Nordic individuals in World War II. Swedish-American World War II hero Ron Windh was one of a group of Swedes who found a way to participate as members of the Allied Forces. The American Scandinavian Foundation honors Windh posthumously for his representation of Nordic peoples in WWII and his important contributions to the national space industry. Members of Mr. Windh’s family will participate in the presentation with photos and personal histories.
Admission is free.
