University Wind Ensembles

The Wind Ensemble performs Philip Sparke’s monumental Music of the Spheres that depicts the planets and stars with intensifying energy. Also on the program are Scott Boerma’s Poem and David Gillingham’s Crest of Honor. The University Jazz Ensemble continues its investigation of jazz improvisation with tunes from the American Songbook. Daniel Geeting and Peter Woodford conduct.
