The Origins of Democracy and the Beginnings of a Science of Language

Dr. Alvarez-Gonzalez was born in 1912 in Spain. He obtained his doctorate in philosophy from the University of Madrid in 1936. He was the founder of the Philosophy Department at the University of Cuenca, Ecuador and is the author of more than 30 books. This is his second visit to the CLU campus. His first lecture hosted at the Community Counseling Service Center was well attended, with standing room only.
