Reel Justice Documentary Series: Days of Glory (2006)
Days of Glory, directed by Rachid Bouchareb, follows four North African men who enlist in the French army during WWII to liberate that country from Nazi oppression and to fight French discrimination. The film portrays the recruitment of these soldiers and their participation in the campaigns in Italy and southern France.
Rick Derderian, an assistant professor of history at CLU, will introduce the film and facilitate the discussion.
Admission is free. The Reel Justice Documentary Series features films that touch on the themes of equality and social justice.
