The Tournees Festival: Fauteuils d'orchestre (2006)

In Fauteuils d’orchestre (Avenue Montaigne), a young woman arrives in Paris where she finds a job as a waitress in a bar that caters to the surrounding theaters and the wealthy inhabitants of the area. She meets a pianist, a famous actress and a great art collector and becomes acquainted with the “luxurious” world her grandmother has told her about since her childhood.

Admission is free. The film is shown with English subtitles.

The Tournées Festival: New French Films on the CLU Campus was made possible with the support of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French Ministry of Culture (CNC). The Festival is sponsored by the Florence Gould Foundation, the Grand Marnier Foundation, highbrow entertainment, agnès b., and the Franco-American Cultural Fund.
