Professional Development Day

The Panel will consist of representatives from the following law enforcement agencies: Federal Bureau of Investigations, Oxnard Police Department, Ventura County District Attorney’s Office, Ventura County Probation Agency, and Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

The Panel will provide information on: researching career paths, internships, the hiring process, background processes, first assignments and a job description.

Career Services will provide information regarding: What you can do with a criminal justice major, Resume and Cover Letter Samples, Career Topics, Website and Resources, Internships, Workshops, Pre-Law, and Proactive Job Searches.

Alpha Phi Sigma, The National Criminal Justice Honor Society, and the Criminal Justice Student Association will host this event.
