Kwanzaa

Kwanzaa is observed annually from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1 by millions of African-Americans. It is a time when families and friends unite to strengthen and encourage one another. Cal Lutheran’s annual one-day celebration will include the Kwanzaa ceremony performed by CLU students, African and African-American food, presentations by the NAACP Saturday School students, music, dancers, and vendors with arts and crafts. Everyone is welcome from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to come and learn about this special celebration.
