CLU Psychology Through History Symposium 2011

The Graduate Students from the History of Psychology 780 seminar will present their semester projects as part of the annual "CLU Psychology Through History Symposium." Topics include a re-examination of theories by the great legends of psychology (Kurt Lewin, Heinz Werner, Hugo Muensterberg, Hermann Ebbinghaus, Abraham Maslow, Arthur Schopenhauer, Martin Heidegger and many more), the concept of self, human emotions, attachment theory, self-actualization and many other topics of high importance to our understanding of human psychological functioning. Each presentation will explicitly address, from a psychological standpoint, the question: "What does it mean to be human?"
