Startup Weekend Conejo Valley

Learn how to think, work, and build like a startup in 54 thrilling hours. Techstars Startup Weekend is an exciting and immersive foray into the world of startups. Over an action-packed three days (Friday-Sunday), you’ll make significant strides toward creating a business, in addition to connecting with the right people and resources and meeting the very best mentors, investors, and potential co-founders...and maybe even start that business!

How Does it Work?

Participants come together on Friday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m. to form teams and select a startup idea to work on. Eat food, play startup games, and network.

Work into the night and return on Saturday for workshops on starting a business, talking to customers, creating a pitch deck, and more. You'll also learn how to create a functioning prototype...no coding skills required! There are also mentor sessions to get feedback and ask questions from people in our community…and more food!

Sunday starts with more team time, pitch practice, and then in the evening, the teams present their startup ideas to a panel of judges for cash prizes!

If you’re curious to learn more, you can register as an observer and join us on Friday evening for dinner and kickoff games and hear the startup ideas pitched. Maybe you’ll even join a team!
