Transfer Students

The transition to a new college can be a difficult process. New Student Orientation has been created to assist you during this transition. New Student Orientation is all about you getting settled in a new environment, planning for a year full of academic and social growth, and getting to know new people. Feel free to check out the schedule for transfer students below and let us know if you have any questions.

International Seminar

All new international students are required to attend the International Student Seminar held at the beginning of each fall and spring semester or term (for some graduate programs). Information necessary to maintain international student status is presented along with needed information about campus resources, policies, and activities. Please remember to bring all of your travel documents with you to orientation (I-20, I-94, Passport, Visa).

Transfer Class Registration Drop-In

New transfer students to Cal Lutheran who have yet to register for classes for the Fall 2019 semester should check-in with Academic Services to register for classes.

Title IX

Sexual assault can be prevented. This session will start the conversation with facts regarding sexual assault and how Cal Lutheran aims to educate all students about campus sexual violence. Campus sexual violence includes stalking, domestic violence, dating violence, and sexual assault. Cal Lutheran’s programming efforts aim to educate students on awareness, prevention, bystander intervention, resources, and University policies and procedures.

Gumby wants to make sure there are are no injuries while hiking to the CLU Rocks. Stop by for a quick yoga sesh and a cold treat!

Plant a Tree. Paint the Rocks.

An old tradition of Cal Lutheran! We invite new students to participate in watering their class tree and hiking up to paint the CLU rocks. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes! Bring a waterbottle! Sunscreen encouraged!
