"Thousand Oaks Reads" Book Panel

Scholars discuss the historical context and the science behind the daring odyssey of Apollo 8 around the moon and back. Panelists include Cal Lutheran President Chris Kimball (History), Professor Mary Oksala (Physics) and Michael H. Gorn, a historian of aeronautics and author of Spacecraft: 100 Iconic Rockets, Shuttles, and Satellites That Put Us in Space.

Thousand Oaks Reads: One City One Book is a citywide literary event and series of activities encouraging community members to read and discuss the same book. Follow the link for more information.
