The Center for Climate Justice and Faith is launching its 2026 Spanish-language Plenary Series on Climate Justice and Faith. We’re kicking off this new season with a presentation from biologist Maritza Florian of Colombia.
Florian is deputy director of climate diplomacy at Transforma Global and a specialist in climate change and biodiversity. A biologist with a master’s degree in human ecology and experience in environmental public policy, project management and international negotiations, Florian has worked in the public sector and with NGOs, focusing on climate change adaptation, loss and damage, biodiversity and human rights.
