Safe Zone: Affirming Asexuality

This workshop will offer a foundational overview of asexuality as a sexual orientation and cultural identity. Participants will learn important information, as well as how to recognize bias in order to support and affirm ace and aro folx. This workshop is open to students, faculty and staff.

Presenter Aubri Lancaster, BA², CSE (Bri/she), is an AASECT and ANTE UP! Certified Sexuality Educator and recipient of the 2026 AASECT Sexuality Educator Award. As a Greyromantic Asexual Jewish Femme, Aubri has lived experience and a connection to the Asexual and Aromantic communities that provides a unique perspective on the issues facing the changing landscape of sexuality and orientation.
