Breaking the Silence resource tabling event

As part of a campuswide day of awareness and community engagement focused on raising awareness about domestic and sexual violence and supporting survivors, we invite you to stop by between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to learn about community resources and services available to support survivors. Gift raffles and snacks will be available.

At 6 p.m., join us in Lundring Events Center for a screening of the powerful documentary Telling Amy’s Story, which recounts the domestic violence and murder of a woman by her husband. The film will be followed by a panel discussion with community partners working to address domestic and sexual violence.

Food will be provided, and attendees can enter gift raffles, including: Jamba Juice, The Habit, Starbucks and more.

The events are sponsored by the Criminology and Criminal Justice Department, the Coalition for Family Harmony and Schannae Lucas’s Family Violence class.
