While every member of the Cal Lutheran community participates in the shared mission to encourage one another's journey, there are certain resources on campus that you can go to for specific forms of support. People in these areas of the university are skilled at listening to your experiences and helping you clarify your sense of vocation and purpose.

Academic Services

This office offers a variety of programs, resources, and services to help you succeed and earn your degree. Your dedicated Student Success Counselor is available to provide one-on-one support and help create an academic plan that works for you.

ALLIES

This program offers advising and professional development opportunities for students who are majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) disciplines. ALLIES staff can provide many different resources including exploring careers in STEM, advice for mastering STEM disciplines, and information about STEM opportunities on campus. This office welcomes all students and has a specific focus on students traditionally underrepresented in STEM.

Faculty Mentors

Faculty are available to discuss how your interests may fit with their disciplines, and which careers in those disciplines may offer you an opportunity to live a life with purpose. Please keep in mind that all faculty are available for these conversations. It does not have to be a faculty member in your current major’s discipline. Asking your academic advisor or first year seminar faculty advisor for recommendations on other faculty to speak with, who may be helpful to you is a great place to start!
