“Eddy's World”

Recently, we co-hosted (together with the College of Arts and Sciences and University Advancement) a screening of the documentary "Eddy's World". The beautiful documentary featured the life and work of 98-year old Eddie Goldfarb, inventor of 800 toys (including some of the most iconic ones such as the "chattering teeth") and University Village Thousand Oaks resident. After the screening, students, faculty and staff engaged in a lively and deep Zoom discussion with Mr. Goldfarb on topics ranging from creativity to entrepreneurship. Without knowing, Mr. Goldfarb shared with us the secret of a long, fulfilling life: Do what you love and love what you do!
