New Faculty Member!
I am very happy to report that we also successfully closed our second faculty search this year. John Garcia will join us as Assistant Professor of Finance at the end of August 2021. John is currently Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas. Before he rejoined academia, John has spent 20 years in industry, with fourteen years at Toyota North America and six years at Ernst and Young. John holds a bachelor's degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a Masters in Accounting from Notre Dame, a Masters in Data Science from Northwestern, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Creighton University. At the School of Management, he'll be teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance and Data Analytics. Welcome, John!
