Alumna receives Women of the Year Award

Senator Monique Limón (District 19) has selected Executive MBA alumna Regina K. Hatcher-Crawford to receive this year's Woman of the Year Award. Regina is a grassroots servant leader and activist and President of NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) Ventura County. Following under the leadership of her mentor, her father, and Ventura County President Emeritus Mr. John R. Hatcher III (deceased), she credits her activism ideology to her parents, John and Jo Anne E. Hatcher.  Active in the civil rights movement, her parents instilled a strong sense of justice and the importance of standing up for her beliefs and being a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. Hatcher-Crawford learned the key to advocacy are the foundation and core values of unity, solidarity, and commitment.
