New course offering in Digital Marketing

In the spring semester, we will be offering a new course in our undergraduate Business Administration program - BUS466 Digital Marketing. The course has been developed in cooperation with Cal Lutheran EMBA alumnus Peter Fernando, who brings many years of relevant experience with Fortune 500 powerhouses such as Disney, Microsoft, and Yahoo, and who will also be the instructor for the course. The course is also unique as it integrates an excellent experiential learning opportunity through a partnership with Ventura-based ad-tech company The TradeDesk (TTD), the most successful IPO from the Central Coast in many years. By providing access to TTD's internal training academy, the students will gain practical knowledge and experience in Connected TV / programmatic advertising, an emerging field in digital advertising technology. Students who complete the TTD module will earn a badge for their LinkedIn profile. We are thankful for our partner Drew West at TTD for this unique opportunity!
