International Graduate Orientation
During our recent orientation for new international graduate students, we welcomed a small and wonderfully diverse group of new students from Benin, Chile, Ecuador, India, Japan, Mexico, Norway, South Korea, and Taiwan. The majority of these students will start their programs virtually until limitations that prevent them from traveling and entering the US. Orientation for international students is an immensely important part of our work. It introduces students not only to Cal Lutheran faculty, staff, and services, but it also helps them better understand the differences between education between their home countries and American classrooms (photo taken earlier at a pre-COVID orientation).
