Diversity in the Workplace
In April, we held our second event in the Diversity in the Workplace Series - "Preparing for Racial Disparity - Part 2". More than 50 guests listened to panelists Viktor Fakrogha (MBA '05), Thembi Moyo ('00), and Nighat Shah, masterfully guided by moderator Jeannette Pugh, member of the School of Management Advisory Council. What connected all of our three panelists was not only their affiliation with California Lutheran University, but the fact that they were all born outside of the United States. They all offered valuable insight on their personal stories and provided helpful tips for workplace issues related to race and culture to an engaged audience.
